i went up 101 the other day to send a postcard to my mom in japan, dropped a card into the mail box at the highest of the world.
just wanted to experience it since i'm in taipei city, gotta do it at least once, ha/

i also went to Montserrat to pray for safe trip!
モンセラットはバルセロナから北西に約70Kmの場所にある巨大な岩山です。
i heard that Montserrat means "a saw" in spanish.
the tips of the rocks look like notched, don't they?
i took 2 trains and this ropeway to get to the top of the mountain.
feel like having a big adventure!
ここには何があるのかと言いますと、黒い聖母像｢La Moreneta｣が祭られている修道院があります。もとはそれほど黒いものではなく、長い間蝋燭の火によって炙られて黒くなったそうです。
this is the boys choir "La Escolania", the pic is out of the focus, though.
the choir's been here singing sacred songs over the hundred years, to adore black statue of maria.

we are here to join a mass together, not for party, ha!
この寺院はカタロニアの信仰の中心地で、宗教弾圧にあった時代もずっとカタロニア語でミサが続けられていたそうです。
暗闇の中に光るロウソクの赤が何となくそういう雰囲気を醸し出していますね。

地中海の海辺はこんな感じです。

どれもおいしそうで味見したくて買い過ぎてしまった生ハムのお店。
食べた後はしょっぱくて喉カラカラになっちゃいました。
i dun like eating sweets, but i do think they look beautiful.
カーニバル用のいろんなマスクが壁に飾ってました。
おもしろいな、と思って写真撮ったら店員におこられちゃったけど。lol
スペインのストリートミュージシャンたちです。
道を通る人たちの中にも立ち止まって踊り出す人がいました。

こんな魚の形をした建物が海沿いにありました。
日が暮れて、散歩の帰り道に見かけただけので建物の中は一体なんなのかちょっと確認できなかったけど。水族館かな？
というわけで、地図も見ずに歩き回ったバルセロナの一日でした。
